Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
The Global Fintech and Trading Excellence Network (GFTEN) is an international alliance that connects forex academies, fintech institutions, private mentors, and research organizations to advance professionalism, curriculum co-development, and innovation in financial markets education.
Membership in GFTEN signifies a shared commitment to integrity, collaboration, and excellence in the global fintech and trading education ecosystem.
2. Eligibility for Membership
Membership is open to:

Registered Forex Academies, Training Institutions, and Private Mentors actively engaged in financial markets education.

Organizations and individuals that align with GFTEN’s objectives of education, ethical practice, transparency, and regional collaboration.

Entities that operate legally and comply with all local and international education and financial regulations.
3. Categories of Membership
a. Founding Member
-
Open to only eligible academies and training institutions, no Mentor or external partner is eligible.
-
Eligible to host or co-host national and regional programs.
-
Enjoys leadership, voting, and advisory privileges within the network.
b. Standard Member
-
Open to all eligible academies, training institutions, or mentors .
-
Entitled to participate in all GFTEN events, projects, and curriculum programs.
c. Affiliate Member
-
Open to external organizations, sponsors, and partners that support GFTEN’s objectives.
-
May collaborate on research, funding, or mentorship programs but without voting rights.
4. Membership Fees

Founding Members shall pay a one-time registration fee as determined annually by the Secretariat.

Standard Members shall pay an annual renewal fee to maintain active membership.
-
All fees are non-refundable and dedicated to supporting network operations, summits, and development initiatives.
5. Member Responsibilities
Members are expected to:

Participate in at least one GFTEN-recognized program or event per year.

Uphold professionalism and adhere to the GFTEN Code of Conduct.

Contribute insights, data, or educational resources toward curriculum advancement.
-
Keep GFTEN informed of any institutional or legal changes affecting membership status.

Support collaboration across borders through mentorship, innovation, and ethical practice.
6. Member Benefits

Recognition as an official GFTEN Member Institution.

Access to regional and international Summits, Forums, and Mentorship Exchanges.

Priority consideration for hosting regional or continental events.

Opportunities to participate in research collaborations and policy development.

Enhanced credibility and visibility through global networking with educators and industry leaders.
7. Hosting Rights

Only verified and active Founding Member Academies (3 Yrs ) may apply to host regional or continental events.

Hosting academies must meet GFTEN’s logistical, financial, and branding requirements.

Hosting responsibilities rotate annually across regions under the oversight of the Secretariat.
-
GFTEN retains full branding and communication rights over hosted events.
8. Code of Conduct
Members must:

Promote honest and transparent financial education.
-
Respect the intellectual property and confidentiality of partners.
-
Uphold non-discrimination, fairness, and integrity in all collaborations.
-
Avoid conflicts of interest, misinformation, or unethical practices in trading education.
Violation of these principles may lead to disciplinary action, suspension, or termination of membership.
9. Termination or Suspension
Membership may be suspended or revoked if a member:

Violates the GFTEN Code of Conduct.

Fails to meet financial or participation obligations.
-
Engages in unethical, fraudulent, or misleading activities.
Suspension or revocation decisions are made by the GFTEN Secretariat after due process and review.
10. Governance Structure
GFTEN is governed by:

The Global Secretariat, responsible for policy execution and operations.
-
The GFTEN Global Board, comprising representatives from founding academies and hosting nations.

Regional Coordinators who oversee membership, events, and compliance within their territories.
11. Dispute Resolution
All disputes or grievances shall first be addressed through internal mediation facilitated by the GFTEN Secretariat.
If unresolved, the matter may proceed to arbitration under GFTEN’s designated legal framework before external legal action is considered.
12. Amendments
GFTEN reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions to reflect operational changes or new policy directions.
Members will receive prior written notice before any amendments take effect.
By applying for membership, all institutions and individuals acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
